Configure Victron Multiplus-2 GX 48/5000 with two Pylontech US5000

Hello.

What is the proper way to configure Pylontech battery for maximum longevity?

I have Multiplus2 GX 48/5000 and two US5000.

I don’t want batteries to go below 20%.

I didn’t find such setting in remote VRM and in VE Configure 3 there are many settings but which one is correct?

Also, I read that it is recommended to charge the battery to 90%. Is it true?

If 20%-90% is optimal range, how to set it?

What is the proper voltage parameters?

In VE Configure there are following settings, that I don’t know how to adjust.

State of charge when Bulk finished: 95%. Should be 90%?

Charge efficiency: 0.95 What is it?

DC input low shut-down: 45 V

DC input low restart: 48 V

DC input low pre-alarm: 48 V

Should these be changed to achieve 20%?

shut-down on SOC is unchecked.

Absorption voltage: 53.25 V (Victron recommends lower?)

Float voltage: 51 V

Repeated absorption time: 1 Hr

Repeated absorption interval: 7 days

Absorption time: 1 Hr

But in Remote console in Settings→Devices→Pylontech batteries→Parameters I have the following:

Charge voltage limit: 52.8 V (but above Absorption voltage: 53.25 V)

Charge current limit: 180A (but Victron’s max is 70A)

Discharge Current Limit: 200A

I would be grateful if you could help me set up the system to maximize battery life.

Thank you.

Theres also descriptions for each setting in the manuals of the respective devices.

If your using ESS you can set a minimal SOC for that. Otherwise SOC isnt really used as a control parameter, most charge/discharge settings are done through voltage

I don’t use ESS.

What are the voltage parameters that will ensure 20%-90% range?
