It’s been a couple of years since we made Discourse the home of the community. The platform allowed us to do a lot more - recent translation changes as an example.
For those that are on the community regularly, or even new members, from a usability perspective, how do you find the interface and structure of the site?
Is it easy to get around and find information?
Is there anything that is confusing?
It’s good. However, you often have to edit the text because it contains errors. When you select “Edit”, the window provided for this has different formatting. It’s then difficult to find the part you want to improve.
Can you maybe provide a screenshot of what you are seeing?
Discourse has a new composer that we are using, so sometimes its a bug, other times a feature 
Really pleased with this new interface, even though at first I missed the old one, probably for the wrong reasons—resistance to change.

That looks better. But is it really necessary to open a new window? It would be best if changes could be made in the original text. Then the split view with its limitations would no longer be a problem either.
Discourse do like modals, that is an early beta, it will change.
Part of the reason is to show you the unedited version as a reference.
I will suggest the idea of a composer within the post with the relevant controls.
I like to see all Pinned post copied together in a separate section, now they move slowly out of sight.
@nickdb I can’t think of any specific things I’d like to see changed at the moment, but if I think of something later I’ll reply back here. For now, I just wanted to say I think the usability of the Community is quite good and I can’t think of anything that makes me curse out loud. I swear like a sailor so that’s what tells me I think the site works well
