Cheapest and easiest energy meter to implement

Hi!
As there are many energy meters to put in to monitor my AC input I am wondering which device is easiest and cheapest to implement. There are Carlo Gavazzi, Shelly and a lot of devices. Shelly’s are quite cheap, but as far as I can understand there are some challenges to implement them. For the moment I am switching my charger on/off with the use of a Shelly Pro 1PM. This should be able to give the values correct, but I did not manage it despite og all the different approaches I tried.
So, just to monitor. Is there a device who can do the job and which are more or less plug and play? A device that do not costs 500$ and so on?

Shelly is no problem, i use https://github.com/fabian-lauer/dbus-shelly-3em-smartmeter, but faster and easier is https://www.victronenergy.de/meters-and-sensors/energy-meter connect the network cable and ready

CT clamp is the cheapest

Yes, can see CT clamp is cheap. But I do not have a multiplus or like that. How do I integrate a clamp with Victron Venus running on Raspberry Pi?

Not a subject i have knowledge in, but I’m sure it is possible.
Plentiful advice online such as " https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=237182"

This is not expensive Victron Energy ET112 REL300100000 Energy meter - Others - Accessories - ESS | NKON I guess

If just monitoring then not a problem. For control purposes, this device is very slow to respond to changes. I forget whether it is a response time or the frequency of updates that is a problem.

well
the price is not that high, though Victron Energy VM-3P75CT REL200300100 Energy meter - Others - Accessories - ESS | NKON
