Charging watts and amp showing wrong

I sometimes get a random thing happen.

On the battery side on the display or via VRM on the app sometimes the charging amount freezes. Normally a cerbo gx reboot sorts it out.

Today was a real weird one it showed a high watts and amps like I’ve had a massive system. It’s only 3500w .

Any ideas why it does this every now and then.

The cerbo is up to date

When it does it it all appears to work as normal

Where does that measurment come from, the battery itself, over canbus or RS485, from a Shunt or some other source?

Do you see the same issue in victronconnect and cerbo gx?

I am seeing similar issues locally:

Possibly could be from the batter.

But there is so many wires out there.

I’ve got Pylontech batteries

Not sure the touchscreen is out in the garage. Will have a look next time it happens.

It’s weird it only does it occasionally. A reboot of the cerbo gx sorts it.

Usually the Canbus BMS will be auto selected as the information source, but its best to confirm that. Also confirm the wiring is correct. Canbus usually is pretty robust, and it usually either fully works fine or it doesnt. Erratic data is very unusual

Thanks is this What we are looking for. It says Automatic.
