Hello.
On a ESS system with Charging Station NS installed (behind the Multiplus), the option to charge the EV in “Auto” mode (if the sun shines and the batteries have a minimum SOC) is working as expected.
However: Sometimes “Auto mode” does not bring the required SOC to the vehicle (if driven much, or long trip ahead), so switching to “manual” is necessary.
The user (who has user access trough VRM) would like the option to change car charging mode from “auto” to “manual” on his mobile device (potentially trough VRM app), without walking to the GX screen (which I can understand).
My issue as far as I see it currently:
I would need to give the user at least the role of technician in VRM, AND write access to the console to do that basic need. If I do all this, the user (or somebody who stole the mobile device) all of a sudden has way too much potential control over the entire system trough the mobile device.
So what I wonder is:
How can I give the user the possibility to change charge modes on the Charging station NS, but not give full access trough VRM and the console?
