Can these models be used in parallel (1 year and 3 months apart)?

I bought two 5KVA Victron Multiplus II, with the intention of putting them in parallel. A monthy later the requirement increased and we bought another one. However I noticed the screw for the terminal wiring plate is different.

The 2 older ones seems to be manufactured in the 8th week of 2023:

Whereas the single newer one seems to be manufactered in the 11th week of 2024, making it 1 year and 3 weeks.

The training material recommends using units manufactured within 1 year of each other. If I update the firmware of all 3 units. can they be used in parallel? My concern is there appears to be changes due to the cover plate.

It really depends on whether there were major changes made to the powerpack, not sure that is the case. The age isn’t specifically an issue but you do want the newest one to be master. Try, you will see soon enough.
With age, components do wear, based on usage, and that can affect symmetry, but no system is perfectly balanced anyway.

Thanks for the reponse, and the tip to make the newest one the master. Hoping someone from Victron might be able to check and say when was the last significant change to the power pack.
