Can I use the Smartsolar RS 450/100 MPPT as a trickle charger?

Hello everyone.

It seems one of my BYD LV5 battery modules arrived depleted. It immediately shows a continuously blinking red LED and shuts down after a few seconds. I don’t want to keep restarting it. I suspect critically low voltage and I want to trickle-charge it to wake up the apparently sleeping BMS. Can my RS 450/100 with a PV and Cerbo attached do the job? Or do I need another DC charger which I don’t readily have?

It should charge up with the keep awake from the cerbo.

@lxonline Thanks for that. I wasn’t aware of it. Let me read up on it in the manual.
