Can a Quattro 24V be adapted as a Quattro 48V?

My existing Quattro 24V system, has 2 parallel 24V batteries, but now also have a new 48V battery pack. So I know I can connect my 2 x 24v batteries in series to make 48V in parallel with the new 48V pack. But is there a way to make my Quattro 24/8000/200 run as a Quattro 48V?

Is it just a configuration issue?

Yes, there is!
Buy Quattro 48V

Nope. And mixing those batteries comes with its own challenges. Best to ignore gpt and build your system correctly as either a 24V or 48V system.

I have built my own system and my existing 24V balanced battery packs have their own BMS, as I always planned to migrate at some point, which is why I have just acquired a new 48V high capacity multi vendor compatible battery pack.

Quattro 24V/48V conversion is not an insulation issue, so it is a case of is a Quattro reconfigurable? - hence I was hoping this forum could give guidance.

I am happy with Victron platform, but my issue is it is cheaper for me (a domestic user) to migrate to a new platform than have to replace my existing Quattro 24V controller with a new 48V unit - especially if my existing inverter can already run at 48V, as this would be a simple upgrade.

It is not possible. You either need to use your current 24V model or buy a new one.
