[BUG] DVCC Charge Current Limit ignores built-in Multi RS MPPT after V1.30 update

I have a Multi RS Smart 48V/6000VA/100A with firmware version V1.30, connected to a Victron Cerbo GX MK2 running v3.75, a Lynx Shunt 1000A VE.Can v1.10, and a SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can 250/70 rev2 v3.18.

Here is my scenario: Under strong sunlight, all MPPTs are operating at full capacity. If I set the charge current limit in DVCC to a low value (for example, 20A), only the external MPPT 250/70 stops charging, while the built-in MPPT of the Multi RS Smart remains active. Prior to the latest firmware updates, DVCC was able to limit the charging current across the system properly.

It seems expected that when setting a charge current limit in DVCC, it should limit all connected MPPTs accordingly.

Try to install a previous version, eg. 1.29, and see if it’s the same, because one of the 1.30 changelogs entries was:

Changes applying to Multi RS only:

  • Rework internal power calculations to ensure proper battery current limits and AC input current limits.
