Bluesolar MPPT 75/10 solar charge controller

We received the 2 sample’s on 6/11/25 and tested those samples with 40W solar panel, 42AH battery and a 30ohm Load for internal testing purpose.
Here we are facing some issues and those are listed below. Please suggest your response on below points.

  1. From morning 6:25AM solar panel voltage starts increasing and at 6:30AM it’s voltage reaches to 17volts. But panel Current starts increasing from 7AM only.

  2. For every 10 minutes we observe 2 cycles of spikes coming in both panel voltage and currents.

  3. From 5PM the current dropped before voltage drops, voltage drops from 5:20PM.

  4. Without connecting any load The battery voltage was drops from 12.6V to 12.2V.

Please provide clarification on below points.

@TEMC You may find this more useful and CV comprehensive as opposed to me trying to explain various aspects such as 10 min sweeps etc. Also you do not mention battery chemistry etc. so maybe add some more details off the setup and configuration used.

1 & 3: This is normal behavior for a solar panel. They are essentially current sources driven by the solar input. so the output voltage will rise as illumination is increased until the load (MPPT) turns on, then as current is drawn, the voltage will fluctuate according to the conditions and power taken. reverse as it gets dark.

  1. This is normal MPPT behavior, searching for the Max power point.

  2. This depends on your battery. IF the MPPT was still connected to the battery, this constitutes a small load, sufficient to cause this sort of drop on a small lead battery.

Congratulations, your system is operating normally.
