The first list shows the serial number from which the hardware modification has been implemented on each model and includes the model I asked about.
But it isn’t shown under the Europe stock list, so it is not yet listed for availability for my region. As per Guy’s comments I am asking for any news of its availability in Europe.

I try to submit RMA request via

but the form does not accept my serial number.
How can I get replacement as direct as possible. I would like to avoid sending it to the online dealer where I bought it, who might not understand the issue and may not know how to handle it.
As I wrote, I returned my charger to the retailer under the 14-day withdrawal right (Germany) for online purchases in January and got my money back.
How can I ensure, if I order a new one, that it already has a HQ26… serial number?
@M_Lange I see that in your shop the IP22 12/30 (1) is out of stock. Does that mean that you are waiting for the new version?

Hello Guy, I asked the same question about the UK 12/30 (1) on 5th May above. My supplier has collected the original charger as a return and are issuing a refund. They weren’t willing to get involved in an RMA with no new stock available, so I’m in the situation of waiting for new stock to appear either with them or elsewhere.
I’m tired boss… really tired.
Back in August 2025 I’ve bought original unit, which had problems described here. Then carried claim to local seller in Jan/Feb 2026, received also faulty one. Then after reading here in May 2026 I’ve carried claim via Victron Support and it was handled by distributor. All info was prepared precisely and I told them here is the source that in VC warehouse in Europe the new HQ26 are available. Now today I’ve received unit which was directly sent to me by distributor saying over phone that it was what they received directly from Victron. And I’ve received today HQ2547.
Curtain, is this a joke or what ? Am I played?

I guess we can assume that in this instance, no news is NOT good news!
Still no update from the supplier, so continuing to monitor the charger on the odd times it is needed, and manually switching it off before it reaches absorption. Fortunately the solar is doing most of the ‘heavy lifting’ this time of year.
Sorry to keep nagging Guy, but do you have any idea when the updated UK version of the IP22/12/30(1) will be available please?
Good news:
I ordered a new IP22 12|30 (1) from Service Team Döbeln, after ensuring, that they will deliver a HQ26xxxx.
Using my LiFePo4, 12 V, 100 Ah and also a small LiFePo 18 Ah battery (starting at 7.5 A), I have no problems with voltage and current spikes in absoprtion mode in tail current phase, in storage mode (USV usecase) or in power supply mode.

@guystewart Guy - just a thought. Does the UK version only relate to the moulded 3 pin mains plug? For my application, I cut that off to wire into a fused spur. Therefore a CEE euro plug version would do the job, as I would cut it off anyway.
Is it possible to obtain CEE version via RMA from my UK based supplier?

Indeed, the UK version relates to the moulded plug that is supplied.
It should be possible to have your RMA fulfilled with an alternative (available) plug type if you’d prefer.
The RMA process is usually sent as a credit note from Victron to the agent handling the RMA, so they can use that credit to order the available model instead.

I’m in the same situation, in that I don’t need the UK plug as I’m hardwiring into my motorhome. But I don’t have an RMA because the supplier I purchased from preferred to simply refund me and arrange a pick up for the charger. The one I returned still had its UK plug as I noticed the irregular pulsing behaviour when testing it on several batteries before installing it, and although updating the firmware reduced the symptoms, it didn’t solve it.
@Clark, if your supplier is willing to entertain your request, I wonder if I could also ask them whether they would order me a CEE version too? Would you mind messaging me their details if they are willing to put in an order for you?
My supplier seems to be ignoring me now - not received any replies since early May, despite a few email requests for updates, and a further warranty submission (via their own website as previously directed by them) requesting a CEE version replacement via RMA.
Strangely, I was copied on an internal request from the sales team to the support team asking them to contact me, but still nothing!
Seem to have hit a bit of a brick wall
