# Beginner question: which charge mode for LiFePo4 on BlueSmart IP65

Hi,

sorry for this question, but I can´t find it in the manual (or I´m just too dumb):

Is this Li-ION mode for every Lithium battery? Or should I take for a LiFePo4 the lead-acid mode “normal” or “high”?

For a LFP battery you should always set the charger to the Li-ion mode.  
Depending on the brand and type of your LFP battery, and possible BMS values, you can also choose the Advanced Settings, and set the different voltages accordingly.
