Battery fault with MPPT 150/85

In the VictronConnect app, I’m experiencing a battery-side fault, and the indicator lights on the MPPT keep flashing.

Please help me find a solution.

What is the error or fault that keeps appearing?
Maybe share screen shot or the code number.

Under battery status, it shows a fault, and my panels aren’t charging

The most simple thing to try first is to:

1. disconnect the panels and disconnect the battery.
2. Wait a three minutes
3. then reconnect the battery, then reconnect the panels.

Can you post the history tab? Is your mppt BMS controlled?
Are there any orange marks in the historic records?

I am not sure about battery faults but the screenshot shows 18.4V from the panels and 13.34V for the battery. The panels have to be 5V above the battery to start charging, this is very close, may be too close. Was the sun on the panels, do you have shading on the panels. If the 18.4V is in sun then this set up will always be an issue. Do you have multiple panels in parallel that you could swap to series to get a higher voltage.

I would imagine the reason for my charger being off would appear if the PV voltage was too low and that was the problem.

Fault state in the battery status is unusual. That would normally be one of several states (bulk, absorption, float, external control, off)

It might need to be RMAd
