AES mode unintentionally switched on

Hi there,

I have a Victron multiplus 70/1600 installed in a caravan. 300ah of lfp and a Cerbo gx controller.

I use the beta gx android software and an android tablet display. This has worked successfully for nearly twelve months.

I now have an AES Mode/Inverting message toggling in the inverter window of the display whenever the inverter is switched on and system loads are very low. >100w.

My searching says that this function can only be switched on using VE Configure software, a special cable and a windows pc. I do not have any of those things.

On the android display of the Cerbo we can see settings but none of the settings appear to point at switching AES on and off.

Can anyone guide us on how to turn AES off with this equipment. Thanks in advance.

You do need VE.config but it can also be run under Linux or MacOS given you know how to use a compatibility layer such as Wine, Proton or Bottles. But you do need a computer, VE.config does not run on iOS or Android.

Since you have a Cerbo, you dont need the Mk3 dongle. You can use remote config through VRM.

Once you opened the config file in VE.config, the AES option can be found in the inverter tab
