For 15S Pylontecs, the balancing will start as soon as both of the followings are true: any cell is above 3.36V (pack above 50.4V) difference between min and max voltage cells is bigger than 30mV At least this is the way they are coming configured from factory and I doubt that many are messing with these parameters.
