Adding more pylon tech batteries to an existing system

Hi all ,
I have an existing off grid system with a Victron Quattro , 2x250/100 charge controllers connected to 6 pylontech 3000 batteries 3 per controller. Can I add more batteries to each bank or do I need to split my panels more and add an additional charge controller?

With the US3000C you can go up to 16 units for a master’s degree. But you have to properly have your blow so that your solar production can recharge them all …

It sounds as if there is no GX device in the system … right ?
The batteries, Mppts and the Quattro should all be connected to a DC busbar.

Sorry there I have a cerbo gx controlling everything. My solar panels are split into 2 charge controllers. I am considering adding batteries to each bank

It is this statement that is confusing. Are they just two separate stacks physically?
Are they common on one bus bar? With one conection for comms to the GX?

Yes you can add more batteries to the bank according to pylontec. Just make the new one the master battery.

What is the interest of making 2 batteries with 2 masters, can someone explain to me? Especially by initially having a total of 6 US.

No i didn’t mean that. I meant the new one must be the one connected to the GX. If there are two still the newer one must be the master.

Yes I see but I still do not understand why with 1 multi, 2 MPPT, 6 US and a cerbo the user wants to make 2 batteries with 2 masters, there I bug

Sorry not making 2 masters all batteries are linked they are just split in banks of 3 to each mppt, thats how they came. I want to add batteries to each 3 battery bank, was wondring how may can i add to each. They run to a master on off switch

they are running to a common isolator switch but only 3 are connected to each mppt

@bruce77 as @lxonline pointed out, having 2 banks, each connected to a separate mppt is confusing. Why did you do that? The standard practice, as I understand it, is to have 1 bank (this can be in multiple stacks of 3 or more or less batteries each) connected to all your mppts. That way, you can add as many batteries as PylonTech allow. Just make sure your mppts can produce enough power to change them and as @lxonline said, it is the new battery that is connected to the cerbo. As an example, I have 3 mppts, 4 batteries (I had 8 with no problem) in 1 bank.

Maybe it’s my wording, I have 6 batteries total. 1 x master and the rest slaves, they are connected 3 to one mppt and the other 3 to the other mppt. Both are victron 250\100. Not sure it’s the way the system came.
