I recently noticed that when the TV is on, and the multiplus is in passthru mode, the AC in and out readings on VictronConnect are higher than I would expect. When I turn off AC in and the multiplus switches to inverter mode, the readings go down to what I would expect. What could be wrong? This only seems to be happening when the TV is on. I turned off the charger in the settings to rule it out. Why is there a discrepancy? It’s not a small one either.
Look at your battery. (52.18x2) The consmption is similar. There is a bit of rounding i think as a small factor of difference and power factor.
The power factor likely changed so it measures things a little differently as that messes with power readings a bit.
I noticed that reading but when I checked the battery app it said 1.6a and was coming up to 85 watts when multiplied with the voltage. I just don’t understand why just turning off the AC in supply causes a discrepancy. Does this happen often? and is more power actually being consumed or is it just a quirk in the readings?
the way the inverter interacts with the grid is part of the reason. Its possible there are some harmonics or something as part of that.
It a reading difference not so much a power difference.
