I have a Multiplus, MPPTs, and Arco regulator on high output alternator connected to a Cerbo and participating in DVCC to charge my smart lithium bank. I have an Orion XS and Smart shunt connected through ve.smart to monitor and charge the start battery. Monitoring with the smart shunt via the Cerbo is fine. I would like to be able to connect the Orion to the Cerbo to monitor charge cycle state and more importantly turn charging on/off remotely through VRM. Requesting an option to disable participation in DVCC to make this possible.
Venus OS Version V3.60 currently going through beta testing resolves this issue which several people have. Beta testers have confirmed that it can now work as a load FROM the monitored battery rather than the assumption that it is always a charger TO the monitored battery.
V3.60 is expected to be released soon, within weeks was the last note, but no promises on Victron’s part.
