I’m planning to build a system for my RV in two stages. The first stage I want the system to be able to power the RV while we are traveling down the road, and also allow us to boondock and run at least one AC through the night (8 hours). We’ll worry about stage 2 (solar) later. The RV has a 50A system (2 legs), I believe that one 10k quattro will work with that? I’m planning to leave the 12v system alone, it will stay with a standalone 12v battery and the OE converter. Below is a quick sketch I made showing my plan. Any feedback is appreciated.
Just a note,the regular Quattros only accept single-phase input, you can’t run 2 legs into them. You’ll need a 2x120 version, or (2) regular versions to be able to run split-phase through them.
They do have 2 AC inputs, which is likely what you’re confusing with split-phase input, but those are two separate single-phase inputs, and cannot be active at the same time.
