I used 2x 10 qm parallel to the MPPT controler. It were 6 x 205wp panels.
As fuses I used car fuses (which was a bad choice, as the fusebox interior gradually dissolved in the chemicals we loaded). In the end I skipped the fuses altogether and used a 6x MC4 splitter.

?? Temperature compensation should be disabled for Lithium batteries.

My go to idea is always higher voltage means smaller cable cross section lower amps, better power transfer.
Less losses.
Smaller fuses.

Everything has plus and minus sometimes you lose sometimes you win.
This is an issue in a stationary solar farm you can live with.
Lastly having several strings on the same MPPT you still encounter a similar issue… Right?

… I’m totally with you on that when you look at this roof …

Is it really difficult here with a parallel arrangement …
The issue is achieving max Voltage as early as possible … so in series

Good explanation, just to add, the main trade-off is efficiency vs safety. Series strings are more efficient but need careful voltage management, while 2S2P is more stable and shading-friendly but requires heavier wiring.
