3 phase MP2 setup, no grid code, no feeding grid, no ess - Virtual Switch ignore AC in possible?

Hello.

I was experimenting with the AC ignore virtual switch (trough VeConfig) in a 1 phases system. Did work as expected.

Now I activated the virtual switch for a 3P-System, but it seems if ac is ignored (as it should), the inverters will not fall back to grid, even though the power draw exceeds the power (and time) set in the virtual switch.

Is this most likely user error, or are there any limitations in 3/multiphase setups?

I would say it’s most likely a configuration error or a wiring error somewhere. I can confirm that Ignore AC works in a three phase system

I can not get it to work in a 3P system.

I did just configure it in a 1P system, and it works as expected.

So wanted to give the 3P system another try, set the limit to only 2500W to connect to grid. No matter what I do, the 3P system will not connect the grid, it will go on overload and shut the inverters off, that’s it. At soon as the virtual Switch in is deactivated, the 3P system works as expected (and is connected to the grid)….

This was configured trough VE.Bus System Configurator, and from there with VeConfig, settings sent to “all devices”. I will attach the VeConfig file, maybe someone sees the issue (if it could be in there).

If you have a full wiring diagram of the system then post it and we can take a look. We need to know every phase, every neutral, and every PE/ground connection in the entire system. You might want to hire a Victron installer experienced in three phase systems to troubleshoot your wiring. I promise you, with proper setup it can be done….
