What is the expected change in behaviour after this change? I’m still seeing suboptimal behaviour: SoC almost always directly jumps from 90 to 100%, even after a rebalance. The CCL therefore almost never reduces when nearing a full battery and even if it does, the values are way too high to have any effect.
The GX does not overrule any BMS behaviour (pylontech being an exception), this is typically more a case of recognising the battery and forcing DVCC on, potentially enabling or allowing DVCC specific options like SVS as an example.
The BMS still drives the system and nothing in Venus will change any quirks the battery has.
You’re describing SOC drift, something a lot of BMS’s struggle with.
There should be an official config document appearing in the battery support section (nothing there yet).
