3.50~7 Cerbo GX cannot find Fronius

Good afternoon,

In my house I have a Cerbo GX with a Fronius Primo, all connected by wifi. I have installed a new network and the Cerbo is not able to detect the Fronius even if I specify the IP manually. The IP address of the Fronius is 192.168.68.51 and the Cerbo is 192.168.68.50 (they are fixed).

Any idea why this could be happening?

Best regards and thanks in advance.

I have been able to temporarily fix using an ethernet cable and the Link-local addressing method

Hey @frbuceta , welcome to the new Community!

Perhaps your wifi network doesn’t allow traffic between devices connected to it?

I’m not aware of any similar complaints, and nothing was changed recently in Venus OS with regards to both networking as well as the Fronius driver.

Yes, neither the Fronius nor the Cerbo have isolated IP. I can access it from my computer with local IPs.

With the previous network I had the IPs 192.168.1.254 and 192.168.1.253 respectively for Cerbo and Fronius.

Maybe Venus OS is not able to recognize the new range. And the bug was always there. In the afternoon I will try the stable version to see if it recognizes the Fronius IP. Even so, it seems strange to me that the Fronius does not recognize me even by entering the IP manually in the Cerbo menu

Hi again, ok thanks. We’ll look into it
