Easysolar II GX does not reconnect to WiFi is lost -

Work-Around:

  • connect via Ethernet and reboot via Remote-Console (-> does not loose history data
  • switch EasySolar II GX Off& On (Side-Effect: you will loose history data and another side effect: the internal PV charger often not recognized and ESS is not working any more - so one or more Soft or Hard reboots are necessary :frowning:

Set the “reboot when connection lost” for x minutes in the GX VRM settings menu.

This option is set, and was working until some weeks ago sut since about 3 Beta versions this mechanism is not working any more.
(I also deactivated and set another reboot time - to exclude an initialisation error) but it has no effect.

An interesting observation is that after the WiFi router is working again, the GX device (nanopi) is trying to reconnect, but is loosing the connection after some seconds.

After event there are more no connections established any more, and it seems to be no reboot happening…
