3.50~13 SuperVolt batteries are not detected when attached to the CAN bus

I have a CerboGX which was running 3.50~5 just fine and upgraded it to 3.50~13 - after which the SuperVolt Polar 100Ah batteries aren’t detected anymore.

The CAN bus status shows ERROR-PASSIVE as soon as I connect them until the next reboot of the CerboGX. Downgrading to 3.50~5 restored connectivity with the batteries.

The Cerbo is otherwise configured stock.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi, do you know where i can download the 3.50 5 Version? I habe the same problem but only the 3.50 9 version.
Best regards Tobias

I can’t answer this as I just downgraded within CerboGX - it allows you to go back to the previously used firmware.

Thank you for this link but i cannot find older beta firmware…

Hey all,

Thank you for the reports. We’ll look into this and we’ll need to login to one of your systems for that - to make a log of the canbus traffic.

Pls let me know if that is ok?

Most likely we’ll then reach out via email to coordinate.

Older beta versions are not archived, sorry.

It is in principle okay - I’d have to help with the set up though as the Cerbo is not connected to a cell network or wifi (yet.)

Hi @MichaelF,

We have not received any other reports of this issue, did you double-check the cabling, settings, etc.? Can you reproduce the issue by upgrading to the latest beta again? (Make sure to do so when running a working version so you can revert back).

And we do need remote access to the system to investigate this issue.

Regards,
Rein.
