3.50~13 GUI-v2 Suggestion: kW instead of W for solar if rest is in kW

When consumption and grid energy is in kW, solar should be in kW also. Would be less confusing for layman. The installation in my example has the screen visible to public and not everybody necessarily knows the difference between W and kW.

Example:

Maybe this could be configurable like the scaling of the gauges itself.
At the moment it’s kW when more than 9999W.

By the way. What happend to the scaling of your load gauges? You have 40kW of load and only very little graphs. Do you have sometimes up to 1000kW to fill the gauges?

No idea why those gauges don’t work.
I assumed this issue is still under development and haven’t reported it separately.

Now, thinking about it: I don’t even know how does the system calculate the top value in those gauges. Does it average the top solar production in some past period, like for example the past 24 hours? Same thing for consumption: does it use any historical values? Maybe if somebody from Victron can’t tell us how the maximum values get determined. If they get determined automatically, there could be a setting in the menus to override them

There is a menu for this. Settings -》display and language -》 units (or similar, my system is german)
Here you can select if the system should scale automaticly to the max value ever reached. Alternativly you can set your max levels yourself.
Maybe your very large max values there result from short spikes while starting motors or something like that.

Thanks… I see it now… I didn’t know about this menu previously.

And yes, there are some crazy high values pre-filled:

Mine was also auto mode and had climbed into high value - probably long time ago, hence the gauges didn’t show nothing. That should have some 10-20 seconds auto reset, otherwise it wont show anything. @mpvader ping

We finns have saunas at our homes and can have +20kW loads when heating it and boiler, add that some cooking and dishwasher. Then coming days loads are few hundreds watts and powered with solar. Scale difference is big.
