After today’s update I have RS system status as Unknown (was External Control before) in VRM, Beta UI and old UI

When I open RS system I have the following

I can also confirm that battery is not charging, only discharging

Now L3 is also external control, but l2 - inverting. Back to 3.50.13 did not help. I think problem appear then grid disconnected. Any thoughts?

I have DESS, Large Venus OS
ESS in “Optimized without BatteryLife”

Could be only 3 phase related…

Ok, I’ve got what’s happening. Let’s imagine 3 scenarios:

  1. Grid available. In this case, all 3 investors will be in External Control State
  2. Grid not available but solar available on all 3 MultiRs - the state will be in External Control, all good
  3. If the Grid is available only on 2 phases and/or solar is disconnected on one inverter (with no grid at the same time), then this one with no phase/solar will switch to Inverting mode, and the rest will go on External Control. But in VRM & Cerbo I will see Unknown state.
    This does not affect performance, but it is an annoying feeling of problem in the system. @mpvader @nickdb I think folks in case 3 you need to display or External Control or External Control/Inverting in VRM and cerbo.
