I have 3 solar panels 400w 35 v. So far I’ve only connected 2 in series to the smart solar 100-30. The peak voltage is 71.5 volts. Could connect all 3 panels in series to the smart solar (even though the peak voltage could be 107v) or will that damage the smart solar? ---

That will potentially damage the controller, definitely void its warranty, and potentially cause damage to surrounding components. The 100v input limit is a hard limit, there must be no exceeding of it under any circumstance. ---

Thank you. That proves that it was wise not to exceed the input voltage.
