Greetings,
I am building a 12 volt solar system to power 4 CCTV cameras and 1 access point. Originally I was going to power these devices individually from a fuse/terminal block to the devices that have 5.5mm jack.
After doing some research I found this 12 volt POE switch that provides 70 watts as a POE budget at 12 volts. I will only be using around half of that. Has anyone here in the community used a device like this one:
Or, am I better off powering the devices with their own power wires? This build will be used in Florida where there is plenty of sunlight.
