VictronConnect 5.47 beta 2 error updating bmv-712 & smartsolar 100/50 Bluetooth.

Hi,
Today I got the obligated update on my bmv-712

which failed after 81%

iOS 14.6 VictronConnect 5.47 beta 2 error updating bmv-712

now I can’t use the Bluetooth anymore

the device is still reporting to VRM

how can I solve this

Bluetooth Firmware was on version 2.32 to be updated to 2.33

after the failed update there is NO old version anymore

boot loader version is 1.13

Hello,

There was a bug in the Bluetooth firmware v2.32 included in VictronConnect v5.46beta1 that makes the connection timeout too early when updating the firmware. We noticed the problem shortly after releasing the beta and immediately removed it but not fast enough and a few users installed it.

To workaround the issue and complete the update, move the phone as closest as possible to the BMV/SmartSolar then connect and trigger the update.

it worked when holding the iPad just a few centimeters from both devices.

both are now updated and Bluetooth is working again.
