Is SmartSolar MPPT 75/10 a serial or a shunt Controller ?

I have now gone through all the documents and data sheets from the download area and have not yet found an answer to my question.

Is the xxx a serial or a shunt controller? So is the voltage of the solar panels short-circuited (shunt) or only switched off (serial) when the battery is 100%?

Thank you and have a nice day.

The MPPT generally presents a higher impedance to the solar array as demand decreases. Only when a power point scan is performed will a short high low impedance sweep be observed.

In the terms you mentioned above, the mppt controller reduces the current drawn from the PV array, to control it's output current/battery voltage.
