BMV 712 connected with shunt at b2 instead of b1.

I've recently got a BMV 712 installed by someone else. I noticed that the power cable is connected to the B2 terminal at the shunt instead of B1. Is this a problem and do i need to switch this? I have only one battery. Thanks in advance for your replay.

Regards

Dennis

The B2 connection is used either for measuring the starter battery status or the battery temperature sensor. The B1 is usually the auxiliary battery. When you say one battery is that starter battery or auxiliary battery. If it is the starter then it is probably correct.

In that case if it is the auxiliary (leisure) battery that should be connected to B1
