You need a VE.direct to USB cable now, there is no way to reactivate BT without it.

Wasn't there any warning before disabling it?

There was but i thought it was the macs warning not the device, thats what happens when you look at this stuff when tried. Just seen them on eBay for £30 is there another way ie buying that GX is it screen and if so does that come with a cable.?

You ca do it via a GX device (such as Cerbo GX), too, but that is much more expensive (unless you planned to buy one anyway).

In that case you need the same VE.Direct to USB cable or the much cheaper VE.Direct-VE.Direct cable.

The GX devices do not come with any of these cables.

With a GX device you could use use VictonConnect-Remote:
https://www.victronenergy.com/media/pg/VictronConnect_Manual/en/victonconnect-remote--vc-r----configuration-and-monitoring-via-vrm.html

But you still need a VE.direct cable to connect the Shunt to the GX device:
https://www.victronenergy.com/cables/ve.direct.cable

The GX Touch 50 is only a optional screen for the Cerbo GX.
