Power to drive a planer/moulder

Wood-Mizer makes an MP260 planer/moulder that requires 230V 3-phase power -- it typically draws between 20 and 32Amps.

I understand I can configure a 3-phase system with three parallel inverter/chargers, but which?

I have a MultiPlus 24/3000/70-50 120V VE.Bus. Can that be used to produce a 230V system or do I need to get three 220-240V units?

I'm off-grid, solar and generator, so a Multiplus should be sufficient?

Thank you for your help!

Cheers,
Kailash

For a 3-phase system you need 3 MultiPlus/Quattro.

With a system of 3 MP 3000 you would have around 7,5kW of continuous power (around 14kW peak for a few seconds).
That is not enough for the MP260 it has 13,4kW in total.

So you will need at least 3 MultiPlus/Quatto 5000 -> 13,5kW continuous.
But I think the inrush current of the MP260 will be still to much.
So I think you will need a Quattro with 8kVA or 10kVA only for that machine! If you want to run other machines at the same time too you will need the 15kVA Quattro.

OK, vielen Dank Matthias -- it is a very power-hungry machine. For the 3-phase 230V, I take it I need the Quattro 230V?
