Since my current (dealer installed) setup up has a bluesolar charge controller MPPT 150/35 which doesn't have bluetooth, I want to know if I can simply swap the monitor ONLY to a BMV-712 and will it ONLY require plugging it in to the current wires? ( bluesolar documentation is very poor and the bluetooth monitoring seems so much better)

It appears to me that to use the dongle, I would be disconnecting the wall monitor, rendering that monitor dead? I was hoping that wasn't my only choice? Hoping to have both wall monitor and bluetooth function if it will work by just changing to bmv712 wall monitor?
