VE.Bus Error: VE.Bus Error 10: System time synchronisation problem occurred

Today my EasySolar-II GX display froze.

Pressing the button next to it did not result in any change.

I had to turn it off and on to reset.

In Alarm LOG on VRM I found:

Did anyone knows what happened?

Where is this Error #10 coming from?

Edit:

Found this on Victron site

Error 10 - System time synchronization problem

This typically happens during a system restart, and is then not a real error; no need to investigate.

I am happy that there is "no need to investigate", but I would like to investigate why may EasySolar-II GX display froze and I had to restart it.

Probably this error #10 was a result of that restart.

Hi @MarekP

if you download the logs on VRM of the time it happened, you can see the reason for reboot.

Hi @Daniël Boekel (Victron Energy Staff)

I am not sure what you mean by "download the logs on VRM".

How I can download this log?

I can see this:

Is this what you are talking about?

I think I know why this error #10 happens.

It happened after I turned the EasySolar II off and than on.

I had to do this because GX controller's display froze, again.

Maybe you know how to reset this display without having to reset whole system?

Regards,

Marek

@Daniël Boekel (Victron Energy Staff) I have 3 Phase ESS System with PV AC Coupled.

3 x MultiPlus-II 48/3000/35-32

4 x Pylontech US3000C battery bank

1 x 8k PV Inverter connected to the AC Output (Zever Solar) measured by ET340

Cerbo GX

All loads (house) are connected to the output of the Multis.

When system worked without any ESS assistant - there where no problems, no shutdowns, no resets (even any warnings). There was only PV inverter support assistant.

This week when I went back to ESS - the problems with system reboots (shutdowns) appeared again. I used simmillar ESS configuration as on my many previous installations.

This time I have real problem. The only new thing I used differently from previous systems is Cerbo GX.

Could that be a source of a problem if VE. Configure does not allow me to have the same ESS settings on L2 / L3 unit in comparison to L1 master?

On L1 master device I am able to define dynamic cutoff values, frequency shift values, PV power - on L2 or L3 I am not.

Thank You for any suggestion.

This error and continuous shutdowns are real problems for me.

Hi @EnerSol when does the error 10 happen?

what is the name of the installation?

ess assistant is correct, L1 controls those things.
