have just installed a bmv 712 with 2*140amp hr AGM batteries that be charged either from the boats alternator or shore power.
can anyone advise as to what the settings should be?

What do you want the bmv to do? Or what do you want to see.
is it a 12v or 24v system?
Hi, it’s a 12v system, I’m after the % capacity remaining at any point, I know it can vary depending on what’s being used as well as the draw on the batteries in terms of watts/amps
when we are sailing we can use an autopilot for 8 hrs and like the fridge on and I want to know when I need to start the engine to charge up the batteries.
Than you need to configure your bat capacity 280 Ah
Set the minimum SOC you want to reach, to get an alarm, 50%
And you can dismiss some of the info in the screen, just reed the manual
