Adapted plans supporting performance optimizers?

Dear Victron-Team,

PV module performance optimiser get more and more meaning in difficult environments, but also in terms of emergency shoutdown for all PV modules.

Since Tigo is supported in the meantime by a series of inverter manufactures (e.g. Fronius, SMA, Solax, Growatt, Omron, Kostal, Sungrow, Schneider Electric, etc.), I would appreciate, if you could consider the support with Victron MPPTs on near term.

Are there already any plans contrary to your statement from 2019?

@mvader (Victron Energy) Any chance you could share some knowledge on this?
I have clients with crazy shading and would like to know what victrons recommended solution for sites with bad shading of panels.

Hi both, making our solar chargers work with optimizers requires a major redesign. Its not planned anytime soon.

you could use smaller strings, or you could go for ac-coupling.

the brands mentioned all offer pv inverters. Not solar chargers.
