Battery and 712 show different voltages

While my 200ah 12v smart lithium battery was in absorb I happened to check in on the app and the battery over Bluetooth was showing 13.21v while the bmv was showing 14.21v which is slightly worrying. The shunt is connected to the battery via 70mm2 cable to the 2000kva inverter as per the manual.

When I turn the PV off, battery drops to the same voltage on bmv as battery over Bluetooth.

Hi @Tinybluehouse

Have you checked the in-line fuse to the BMV-712? It should be a 1A type - not 100mA. There have been some reports of bad readings when fitted with a 100mA fuse.

It’s 100ma fuse down it’s not that

I totally read that wrong!!! So I need a 1A fuse not the 100ma I have installed. Are they just standard fuses? They look smaller

They are an M205 fuse.

20mm long x 5mm diameter.
