Orion 12|12-30 replace Argo FET 100-2 ?

Hi, we just bought an Lithium battery to replace our house Acid batt. We figure we cannot use our old Argo FET 100-2 to connect to our Lithium batt. We are told we should buy the Orion DC-DC. Does this mean that we no longer need the Argo FET 100-2?

Can we use only the Orion DC-DC between our Acid and our Lithium?

One dealer says that we need to pay for consultancy. Another dealer is suggesting other brands.
Is it so that Victron does not have a good solution? Sounds very strange to me!
Could you point me in the right direction at least?
Right now we have an alternator charging 2 acid batteries (house+starter) and we use the Argo. Works fine!
What are the upgrades that we need to do in order to replace the house battery with a lithium (that has a BMS built in)?

Does anyone know which device to put between the alternator and the lithium battery? And with or without the argo to charge the Starter as well?
