IOS pin added on iPhone but issue on iPad

After setting a pin on the iPhone, as suggested, the app no longer works on the iPad. It sees the device but never gets past 20%

@Henkoolders, your iPad is most likely trying to pair with the device using the old (default) PIN. Try going into your BT settings on the iPad, under "paired devices" (sorry, not sure where that will be found on an i device) and removing your Victron device from the list of paired devices... then back out of everything, close all the apps, and reopen VictronConnect... this should prompt your iPad to ask for the new PIN.

This is important to know.

If you have more than one device paired and change the pin you can't connect via other devices until you forget the bluetooth pairing

Surely the Victron app can remove / reset the pairing if a pin mismatch is found or at least recognise there is an issue and give the user feedback ?

sitting at 20% indefinitely isn't helpful and even if you delete and re-install the app the incorrect pin remains because it's in the bluetooth pairing not in the Victron app

I also had same issue with 75/15 mppt. Paired ok on iPhone, made the iPad forget the mppt, then tried to pair iPad. It Would not take pin or puk number on iPad. Has anyone made it work?
