MPPT with VE.Direct port firmware version for DVCC

Dear Victron lovers,

I read about strange behavior in Pylontech + Victron systems with DVCC enabled.

My GX device shows that firmware version in the solar charge controller must be v1.29 to work with DVCC enabled.

But the latest firmware version is v1.37

What firmware version should i use in order to achieve the dvcc works properly?

In my opinion,

Always use the latest firmware on all devices if you are using the full intergration senarios, especially at this time as there have been changes in the dvcc area,

Hi Daniel,

The text in the GX device menu means that the MINIMUM firmware version for VE.Bus is 422 and for VE.Direct is 1.29.

When commissioning a new system, or attempting to troubleshoot an existing system the current most up to date released firmware should be used.

If a system is working well, pro-active firmware updates are not advised.
