I'm about to buy a RPi 4, but got undecided on the memory version.
Which one should I buy? 4Gb or 8Gb?
It will be used only for the Victron / electric stuff in my RV, as I'm considering having something else to run Home Assistant.

On my Cerbo GX with NodeRed running this is what the system is saying..
MemTotal: 1030084 kB MemFree: 392744 kB
On my PI 8Gb this is what is being reported. Note it is running SignalK and NodeRed.
MemTotal: 8086736 kB MemFree: 7203656 kB
So a 2Gb system for most stuff will be fine.
Pi 3B+ 1 Gbyte memory - my active system on my narrowboat running Node-RED OS v2.92
Pi 4B 2 Gbytes memory running my Node-RED Development system OS 3.0~4
I believe the CerboGX devices is 1Gb, so anything greater than that will be fine.
Running other software along with Venus OS code is not recommended. Plan on another Raspberry PI for those other "electric stuff".
In this case it's non Victron stuff (like JK BMS) interfacing with Victron stuff (GX device), and maybe some temperature nodes.
