My smart Phoenix Inverter 12/3000 doesn't connect to the Victron Connect App in my smartphone. The inverter is just not recognized (status: "unknown device"). Anyone having an idea how to solve this?

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy s5 with open source Android.
app (Victron Connect is latest version 8.5).

No other devices to the Phoenix. Phoenix is brand new but firmware unknown.

Victron smart solar 100/50 and 75/15 work very well with the app.

The app detects the inverter with the message: Unknown product (A2A1).
And after that it just doesn't connect.

The phoenix may have latter Bluetooth hardware than the S5 and it may not be compatible.

Thanks for your input Paul.

I'll try a more recent smartphone and let the outcome know.

My bluetooth works with other smartphones, and a Rasberry Pie (e.g.) and the Victron Connect App works also well with the Victron hppt solar chargers. But indeed the Bluetooth version might be a bit old.
