Low power of MultiGrid II 48/3000 in ESS system

ESS assistant is used in optimized mode. Grid shall be used when load exceeds nominal output-power of the MultiGrid.
In settings/ess inverter limit power is set to 2400 W ( nominal load of MultiGrid II 48/3000), but grid is already used when load exceeds 2000 W
When inverter limit power for example is set to 1000W, system works fine. Grid is used when load exceeds 1000W.
Why is the power limited at 2000W ?

Up to 8 attachments (including images) can be used with a maximum of 190.8 MiB each and 286.6 MiB total.

Since 2500VA (2000W) is stated in the datasheet this seems quite normal to me.

Probably this has been done due to higher workload on ESS compared to an off-grid solution. Life expectancy will get higher and temperature lower by throttling the max. power to ~80%.

Not sure about this, maybe there is also another reason.

This was an issue with older firmware, it was fixed a while ago (that's why Wkirby asked about the firmware version)

Thank you Boekel. In the datasheet it still shows 2500VA. So this has been raised up? Or is it just for the real feed in and consumption can go up to the nominal?

correct, feed-in / consumption are different figures.

and feed-in was more restricted in older firmware
