how to activate grayed out equalization voltage on MPPT 100-20

The equalization voltage Mode on my mppt 100-20 is grayed out. I can not do a reset even if I select the factory setting.

Thanks for any hint.

It's controlled by battery type. Most batteries should not be equalised.

@womolupe

So to add on here, what battery type do you have selected?

And what battery do you have? Does the manufacturer say it should be equalised?

Hi Alexandra

it is a DIY 200Ah with Winston Cells. I have two different Solar Panel with different datas and so also different Solar Controlers both with MPPT 100-20. I had the setting active on both. I deactivated the setting on one controller and have not been able to activate it since.

So you dont want to equalise, (lifepo4 does not equalise) you will use an absorption charge then.

Thank you

I have now the

Absorbtion Voltage on 14.4V and the Float Voltage on 13.5V the Equalization Voltage adjustment is disabled on both MPPT.
