Lynx Shunt benefits compared to Smart Shunt?

Hi,

what are the benefits of Lynx Shunt compared to Smart Shunt? It has a nice box that integrates nicely with Lynx Power-In, but is that all?

It costs 2.6x more than Smart Shunt.

Smart Shunt datasheet says current draw < 1 mA ~ < 1Ah/month, Lynx Shunt says 20mA @ 48V ~ 14 Ah/month. That's huge difference.

Smart Shunt says resolution and accuracy 0.01A +- 0.4 %, Lynx Shunt's datasheet does not mention those.

Is there any reason to buy Lynx Shunt over Smart Shunt except integration with other Lynx boxes?

The Lynx Smart Shunt integrates with the Victron environment (Cerbo) via VE.Can rather than VE.Direct that the smart shunt uses. It really comes down to your design and integration as to which devices to go for, oh and off course price.

The smartshunt of course is available up to 2000A as opposed to Lynx being 1000A, also offers second battery monitoring, temp monitoring and such and bluetooth monitoring via a phone. Just depends on your actual requirement and whether you want the modular Lynx features.

Yeah, it fits nicely with other lynx boxes, but if that is its only benefit, I can't reason to spend 2.6x the price. Would be nice if they could put smart shunt into lynx box :)
