Battery Sense will not pair

Hello All,

Have the latest app version (v5.5) and will not pair to Battery Sense HQ2039QMWUI with my Samsung Galaxy S9. Will pair through BT phone settings but will not through app. Have followed troubleshooting guide (unpaired, restarted phone) but nothing works.

Please advise

Do you have location services (GPS) enabled and did you give VictronConnect location permission?

Turned on Location and it's working!

Why is there no mention of "Enable GPS" in the troubleshooting instructions? WOW.

It is in the troubleshooting section step 3and 4 on the Victron Connect manual.

I wasn't reading enough. My bad. Thank you.

Do not pair using the phone settings only use VictronConnect.

Do you see the battery sense in VictronConnect?

Do you get any errors?

Create a service report.

Battery Sense not being seen by app. "device not found" error.

Is the blue led blinking, or on?
Unpair in the phone. If you pair in the phone, it blocks victron connect.
Unpaired many times, rebooted several.
