Does the Venus OS provide a proper RPi shut down?

Does the Venus OS provide a proper RPi shut down? If not, how do you manage a proper shut down to avoid corrupting the OS or the SD card?

WOW! that looks like an incredible amount of work. But it is evidently way above my pay grade. I don't know where to start with any of that

A crude way to shutdown somewhat safely is to reboot it through the menu and yank the power cord when the LED shuts off.
