Need help diagnosing an issue please

Have 2 separate strings consisting of 6 - 100w panels and 3 - 190w panels running to a Victron 100/50 controller. I have 1 set of 6awg for each string @ 20' length to the controller with a 20a blocking diode on output of each string. 36 amps is the most I have seen coming out of the panels. Both strings are connected at the input of the controller with about 4" of 6awg from the piggyback connection into controller. The battery bank consists of 2 - 200ah Lithium iron. The controller is set to charge to 14.2v The problem is that in full sun with no shading and the batteries at 13v the controller will shoot up to 600w and then back to zero. Keeps doing that over and over. I am stumped at this point. Thanks

It sounds like the Vmp of your 2 different panel types not similar enough for the Mppt to lock onto the highest power point.

Post the specs of your panels, and how they are wired up.

Both sets wired in parallel.

Wired as 3s x 2p for the 100w panels, paralleled with 3s 190w panels??

I wasn't sure if a 2v spread between the strings was too much for the controller but I guess it is. I will get another controller then.
